LL Bean doesn't allow parents to have their children home during work hours without another adult being present in the home. That isn't what most parents are looking for if they are trying to work from home - the point of working from home is so we can be there more for our children, not less, and to save on childcare.
This does neither. That being said, the job itself is a wonderful experience. I'm disappointed that LL Bean has incorporated an AHT for customer transactions, especially considering that during peak there are seldom enough csr 2 and 3's to not have a long wait time.
Also, I'd like to point out that their pay rate for seasonals has not changed since I was last there in Unheard of. Pros work from home. Cons you would still need childcare if you have children.
