Actually Autumn wanted the purifier for more power so he could control the Capital Wasteland, its just that Eden was too extreme for his taste. And, the BoS were cut off only whilst Lyons decided to help the wastelanders as in they would provide no support for his current mission but if he resumes his original objective im sure that contact would be continued.

As for the Outcasts what does it say about them disobeying commands especially in a medieval military order, im not sure the original BoS would be pleased.
