Though for the sake of it, I would say Gildarts beats Laxus because of his hax, otherwise without Crash magic, Laxus should win but I'm only saying that because I like character progression so I would assume Laxus grew in power and surpassed Gildarts but then again I would have to assume Gildarts also grew in power and hence we would be back to square one.

Acnologia is much stronger, but Zeref is immortal so they equal each other out. BUT, if you count all the resources, then yes, Zeref is probably superior. Zeref has a whole empire backing him and the capability to get things like Lumen Historie that could potentially kill Acnologia. Sting is probably stronger than Rogue, as Natsu is to Gajeel overall.
However, the gap is probably insignificant. Acnologia is stronger than natsu. While killing acnologia natsu required the full powers of all the dragon slayers and the powers of guild and one of the 3 great fairy magic named fairy sphere which was casted by Lucy and whole guild. It is stated by the guild master of Magia Dragon the employer of the quest that the Holy Pentadrakes or Five God-Dragons are all as strong if not stronger than Acnologia.
As of now, nobody can defeat Acnologia… not alone at least. Nobody alive should be soloing Acnologia, it would take a team of the strongest mages at the very least.
