I lost a friend in Charles Mahaney. Regardless of how long it had been since seeing one another we were always able to pick up where we left off. From our first acquaintance in Fayetteville over 30 years ago to conference last year we always teased one another and shared jokes.

There are some names that are interwoven with the words United Pentecostal Church, International. Charlie Dean Mahaney is one of those names. He told it like it is and I admired him for that.
